Who we are. . .
We are located in beautiful Athens Ohio, home of Ohio University. I've been doing henna for fun for more than ten years, and recently decided to share my enjoyment of this unique art form with a wider audience.
Looking for traditional patterns for a wedding, sangeet, or Eid? I started my henna experience learning to apply many traditional design elements, or I would be happy to create a new, personalized design for your event.
Thinking about a tattoo, but not sure you want it permanent yet? Henna is an easy, needle-free way to test designs and placement before taking the plunge!
Whether for weddings, baby showers, festivals, or just for the fun of it, henna is an ancient art that is still evolving and vital today. Tradition and personal expression mix as much as you want them to!
Our prices range from $5 for a simple design, to $50 for a complex backpiece. Bridal prices are available on consultation, since we tailor each design to the bride. Festival and party booking can be arranged, please email us!
Our henna is always 100% natural henna, mixed with natural, safe ingredients as listed on the Henna FAQ page.
WE WILL NEVER USE PPD (SO-CALLED "BLACK HENNA")
There is no secret to natural henna, nor is there any "secret recipe!" If you don't know what an artist is putting on your body, don't let them put it on you!
